Remove widgets completely?

  Hi.. I am a new here.. i have just started my page using Wu Wei.. it has couple of sidebars for widgets, i dont need any widgets on my page. How can i remove the widgets completely from my page along with the sidebars meant for widgets? Can this be done?

  I don’t see any widgets on that site. What is it that you want to remove?

  :( its the hello world on the left side of home page and the leave a reply box on the about page..

  “Hello World” is the title of the post. When you write a post of your own, its title will be there on the side.

  You can turn comments off for the “about” page:
  http://en.support.wordpress.com/enable-disable-comments/
