Remove widgets on certain pages

Can I have a different front page to the ones that launch when I click on a particular blog entry? Basically would like widgets down the right side on the opening page and not be there when people click on a blog
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
I think I understand what you’re asking, and you can indeed do what you’re looking for. You can control when widgets are and aren’t shown based off of a variety of factors, so it can really change how your blog looks.
We have a help article which explains how to set your widgets’ visibility:
Let me know if this is what you were looking for, and if not could you explain it again?
Thank you much!

Thanks! Changed the settings as you suggested and that partly fixed the issue. But I still have a search window and archive widgets on the right side of the page once you open a particular blog entry. When you click on an entry, I want the text and photos to fill the page horizontally. Is that possible?

With this theme, that doesn’t appear to be possible if you want a sidebar at all. You can turn sidebars off entirely by going to Appearance >> Theme Options >> Layout, but that impacts the entire site.
You can also have the search and archive widgets disappear by adding a text widget with just a single space in it (those search and archive widgets are space holders because there has to be something there), however it will keep the post area narrow.
You may want to check in the Standard forum however. Since Standard is a premium theme, you have access to a forum which is managed by the theme’s author, and you can check to see if someone else has asked this same question and if not ask it yourself. You can find it right here:

Sorry I wasn’t more of a help!
