Remove WordPress.com branding ?

  Hello, 
  I have question and kindly request you to help me find a proper answer;
  The tutorial at ‘ https://wordpress.com/support/video-tutorials/domains-and-email/  ‘ says ; 
  ‘Custom domain names let you brand your website’s address so people don’t see WordPress.com in your site’s address, and email allows you to set up a branded email address from that custom domain. ‘

  I understand from the sentence above that if I transfer my own domain name I can use it as it is, I mean without WordPress.com branding ? Right? And my plan is to transfer my own domain name to Worpress and purchase a business plan which doesn’t have ‘ Remove WordPress.com branding ‘   in the package. Am I gonna use my domain name without WordPress?

  A Business plan does give you the ability to remove WordPress.com branding. WordPress.com branding refers to the wording “powered by wordpress” or similar in the footer of your site. All paid plans allow you to replace the subdomain address ending in .wordpress.com with a custom domain you either register here or transfer or connect from elsewhere.
