-
Is there a way to remove WordPress’s nav bar above my website in CSS? If so can somone help me with this.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Are you talking about the grey admin bar? If so, hiding that can get you in trouble with wordpress, because when someone other than you visits your site while they are logged into wordpress, that is THEIR admin bar, NOT yours. You would be hiding your visitor’s admin bar.

Well i don’t like the subscribe to blog feature and i can’t take it off. So that’s why i wanted to know. Is there a way to remove Subscribe to blog?

I do believe if my memory serves me right that it was mentioned this past summer that’s it’s against the terms of service to remove the bar…

Well i know i’m removing it from the veiwers. I don’t want anyone Subscribing to my site. I don’t like that.

If you remove it, your blog will likely be suspended for a violation of the TOS. Then of course you won’t have to worry about anyone subscribing – or even seeing your blog. It will be gone.

Well here’s the deal. Anyone can already subscribe to your RSS feed for posts (entries) and for comments too and you won’t even know if they do or who they are.

Even by removing the bar doesn’t stop them from subscribing to your blog feed…
If a person wanted to bad enough subscribe to your blog they could put /feed at the end of your home url and subscribe via their favorite RSS reader…

All of the themes on WP.com are designed to work with the navbar. If you’re doing custom CSS it’s theoretically possible to mess it up, but with some care you can avoid that.
