Remove WordPress tips on Domain

  Ever since I bought the domain through WordPress (The $15 deal), I’ve had an advertisement at the top of my dashboard every day, that amounts to a play on my existing domain name: Planetfunorb.com

  “WordPress tip: Be the master of your own domain – make this blog funcentercircle.com for just $15 per year.”
  “WordPress tip: Be the master of your own domain – make this blog youramusementorb.com for just $15 per year.”

  Funcentercircle.com? Youramusementorb.com? I already bought a domain name, and the advertising didn’t start until I did. You’d think they’d be happy already having my money without advertising me completely irrelevant names? Did I sign up at the same time as an update, or is it only after you buy a domain that you get this advertising?

  I’d like to see it removed, it’s like Target advertising dvd players specifically towards me when I just bought one from them, I’m not going to buy another.

  That’s bizarre, I’ve never seen that on my dashboard and I’ve had domain mapping for over a year.

  Have you considered reporting this to staff via a support request? http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
