Remove/Hide “posted in xx category”

I’m trying to find out how to remove the categories from beneath all posts. I also want to remove the Edit feature and change the wording of ” Leave a comment” to just “comment.”
My CSS is pretty limited but I can work it out if someone can help me with the coding…?

You can’t remove the Edit feature, but only the admin of a particular blog sees that anyway, so don’t worry about it.
As far as I’m aware, you can’t change the wording of the comment link, either, although you can change themes to one that uses the wording you want.
To remove categories from below the post, you can just switch to the iNove theme, which has that as an option. If you’re more advanced in CSS, there is a way, but it often removes a lot of other items with it, such as the date and the link to comments.

I’m actually happy to remove the date and link to comments, or at least experiment with it. Can you tell me what the steps are to remove categories et al using CSS?

One last try, do you know if there is a way to change the styling of these aspects (“posted by”, “leave a comment” etc?) I’d like to remove the italic, make uppercase, make it smaller.
