Remover powered by wordpress theme and add all rights reserved instead

    Hi there,

I am searching everywhere and need a confirmation from WORDPRESS regarding this.
If you do not purchase premium or business theme packages, does this mean you are unable to edit simple CSS to remove “powered by wordpress theme” and add all rights reserved info on your own website domain?

This is the only thing I want to change for my site http://www.positivereiki.com.
I just want to get rid of the powered by wordpress theme and add :
    © 2014 – 2015 POSITIVE reiki. All Rights Reserved.

I don’t need the other items in those theme packages.

    Thank you,
    Tracy

    Hi Tracy,

Please note that the footer credit is required to be displayed according to our terms of service:

    http://en.wordpress.com/tos/

Note that even sites hosted through our VIP program, such as the TED blog, display a credit to WordPress.com in the footer.
(See the bottom of http://blog.ted.com/ for an example)

However, with CSS you can add to the footer to add whatever you want if you purchase Custom Design by going to Store in your Dashboard.

Let me know if you have any questions with this!
