  Why do you keep blogs that aren’t being used? plainspeak and inenglish, for example, haven’t been used for 5 years.

  By “you” who do you mean?

  I cannot speak for anyone else. I have private test blogs I use when I answer questions here and also for previewing changes I’m considering making on my active blogs. I have private blogs with copy and paste answers to forum questions. I also have some for collecting research links that eventually become posts.

  Why do you ask? There is no requirement to use a blog once we register it. If someone has a blog with the blog name you want and chooses not to use it, and you can’t contact them, or you can but they won’t transfer it to you that’s too bad and so sad.
