Removing a blog after domain expires
-
Hi,
I am trying to delete this blog as I no longer own its URL, but the ‘dashboard’ etc buttons still refer to themastermentality.com/wp-admin and so nothing opens. I’m pretty sure I also replaced the blog by something I host myself (prior to discontinuing the domain name). How can I delete this blog? If anyone can help me with this, that would be great!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
The domain name themastermentality.com was used with a self-hosted WordPress site using Jetpack (not a site hosted here at WordPress.com). It appeared in your list of blogs here at WordPress.com because of the Jetpack plugin you were using. I’ve removed that domain/blog from your WordPress.com account for you.
Please let me know if I can provide any further help with this. :)

Thanks, Rachel! I thought I’d installed it myself, but seeing it on wordpress.com made me doubt my memory. This is not pressing but I am curious: am I correct in assuming that after I deleted my WordPress installation with jetpack, there was no way for me to remove the reference on wordpress.com myself?
Thanks again :)
Mandy

Hi Mandy,
Yep, that’s right. :) You were seeing it listed in your blogs at WordPress.com because Jetpack connected the self-hosted blog to your WordPress.com account. If a self-hosted installation is still available, you can disconnect it from your dashboard there (which removes it from WordPress.com) but once the installation is deleted WordPress.com staff can disconnect it from your account for you.

Hi Rachel,
I have the exact same issue with a domain on my account (analyzepix.com), and I would very much appreciate it if you could also remove it from my list of blogs. Thanks!

Hi Rachel,
I have the same issue with my other blog (www.salmonpastel.com/nocturnalreader/).
