Removing a Business Website
-
Hello, I work for a small non-profit organization and before my time, there was someone who managed a website (gamechangerorlando.org) through here. We no longer have the credentials to login and I’m trying to find out how to go about resetting those or having the site removed altogether so we can rebuild it. I’m not 100% sure on all of the details ab out who is hosting, how it was set up, or other details and I wasn’t sure where to even start to getting this issue resolved. When the person stopped working with the organization they took all the info with them. Could you please point me in the best starting direction? Thanks

Hi there,
It sounds like this issue has to be handled by a staff member.
However, here is the link to the Account Recovery support page : https://en.support.wordpress.com/account-recovery/
I have tagged “modlook” for a staff member to help you with your account problem.
I hope you will find a solution to your problem.

Hi @epicendingspodcast,
gamechangerorlando.org is a self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) site and is not hosted here on WordPress.com.
This forum is only for questions related to WordPress.com sites. You can post the question on self-hosted WordPress (WordPress.org) forums for help: https://wordpress.org/support/
I can advance to you that the best way to get the credentials back is trying talk to the webmaster. Otherwise try to talk with the hoster where your site is. You can check here: https://www.whoishostingthis.com/?q=gamechangerorlando.org
Good luck! :)

Hi there,
It looks like your domain is registered with GoDaddy.com, so you should contact them to regain control over the domain.
The site itself appears to be hosted with https://eboundhost.com/, so you need their help to access the hosting account and dashboard for the site.
The WordPress.org forums won’t be able to help you in this case – they can only help with software issues, not hosting or domain access.
