Removing a deleted (followed) site

  Hi there,
  I created a second wordpress site and then deleted it, but my primary site followed the deleted site. Now that it is gone, it still shows up in my ‘sites followed’ widget as
  ‘Site Title.’ How do I unfollow this site now that it has been deleted?

  Note that WordPress.com sites cannot follow WordPress.com sites. Only WordPress.com and non-WordPress.com users can follow sites.

  How do I unfollow this site now that it has been deleted?

  You can use this guide https://en.support.wordpress.com/following/#how-to-unfollow-a-blog-if-youre-a-wordpress-com-user to unfollow the deleted WordPress.com site.
