  How do I remove and block an email follower from my blog?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  You can’t if your blog is public. That’s the nature of being public.

  WordPress says that “unless someone has ‘ blocked following’ “. But then they don’t describe how to do that. Any ideas?

  “That’s the nature of being public.” How do you figure that?

  The nature of being public is, anyone can look at you.

  Where are you seeing that “blocked following” information? I’ve never seen that anywhere.

  Under Settings->Privacy you can set your blog to Private. Then the only people who can read your blog are people you Invite to read it. Of course, since your blog is public now, search engines will have a record of what you posted already. It can take six months for them to delete the cached items. Some never seem to delete them. But they won’t be able to see your new posts at all.
