removing a mistaken domain

Background: My nonprofit uses pasnwpa.wordpress.com for our website but also owns pasnwpa.org and purchased the mapping upgrade.

The other day I created a completely separate site called mealsonwheelserie.wordpress.com (I’m the Executive Director), which has nothing to do with pasnwpa.org.

Probably because I was logged in under pasnwpa when I created mealsonwheelserie.wordpress.com, I goofed up everything. To wit:

    In Google Chrome
1.) The mealsonwheelserie.wordpress.com URL loads the right blog BUT pasnwpa.org appears in the URL bar on the browser.
2.) The pasnwpa.org URL maps to the mealsonwheelserie.wordpress.com blog and maintains the pasnwpa.org URL in the browser.

    In Firefox
1.) The mealsonwheelserie.wordpress.com URL loads the pasnwpa.wordpress.com site and pasnwpa.wordpress.com is the URL window.
2.) The pasnwpa.org URL loads pasnwpa.wordpress.com but we bought the mapping upgrade and should stay pasnwpa.org but pasnwpa.wordpress.com is the URL window.

I have a mac and cannot test the IE configuration. Why it loads different pages based on the browser doesn’t make any sense to me.

No matter, it’s all screwed up anyway. Can I remove the mealsonwheelserie.wordpress.com from my domain? I cannot figure out how. If I do, can I log out and still create it under a different account (I saw something about removed domains never being able to be used again)?

    Please help!

    Terry

It looks like you mapped pasnwpa.org to mealsonwheelserie.wordpress.com not pasnwpa.wordpress.com – contact the staff and have them transfer the domain mapping to the proper base blog URL – you will need to give the EXACT instructions on what you need to have updated.

The contact staff address is below – type anything in the box then “no I did not find the answer; note – the form opens up downward so the boxes may be off the bottom of your browser window.

I will also flag this for staff attention
