Removing a pdf link from WordPress permanently

  Hello, I’m trying to remove a pdf file so that it does not come up on the internet at all. I’ve deleted the file from my WordPress blog, made the blog private, and I’ve also requested & removed the link from Google, but when I click on the link, the link is still visible and allows people to download as a pdf file. Is there any way that you can permanently delete the pdf file and/or the link from WordPress so that it doesn’t come up at all? Will I need to delete the whole blog? The link has the word ‘files.wordpress.com’ and ends with ‘pdf’ at the end, so I’m wondering if it’s something that can be done on your end. Please help! Thank you so much!
