Removing a theme

    So I had a basic site built and couldn’t figure out how to use a theme. When I played around enough I got it to work except it apparently wasn’t compatible with the initial design layout I had. After applying the theme I lost all pics and some text. I just want to keep the original website I created and delete the theme that us currently screwing the site up. I don’t want to permanently delete the whole thing and start over. It took 10 hrs just to figure out the basic site I ended up with on the initial build. Anyhelp would be appreciated.
