Removing a thin vertical line after blog title

  I need help in removing that ugly thin vertical line after my blog title, please.

  I have the upgrade.

  I know zip of CSS.

  You just wait for an answer – this is a forum, not a phone answering service! And most of the answers here are given by fellow bloggers volunteering, not staff. Thesacredpath, who gave you a preliminary reply in the other thread, is a CSS expert: he’ll see your response and reply when he can.

  I posted it here because I thought I posted it in the wrong forum and this is the Support Forum thinking that I would get a faster response (just in case support people do not browse other forums for questions that should be directed to them)

  I appreciate the response of thesacredpath – it’s informative. If you are not a member of the support group, you could have just ignored my posting. Anyway, thank you for directing me to WP staff.

  You’re a new member, so you’re not familiar with this forum yet and you’re confusing a few things.

  As I already said, most answers are given by fellow bloggers volunteering, not by staff, no matter which forum you post in. It’s not that “Support” means staff replies and the other forums mean replies by amateurs. Check today’s Support threads and see how many staff replies you’ll find (staff replies have a highlighted avatar and username, and don’t say “Member” under the username).

  The various forums of this site are just like categories in a blog: sub-groups of threads. This helps volunteers direct their attention to subjects they’re more proficient in. So, since your question was a CSS question, to “get a faster response” you should have posted in the CSS section of the forum from the start.

  If my “member of the support group” you mean WP employee, no I’m not. And neither is thesacredpath. Both of us are experienced volunteers, so, in addition to answering questions and solving problems, part of our role is to advise you on what you should or shouldn’t do here (instead of “just ignoring your posting”).

  To find a thread you have previously posted, click on your name at the top of the forum where it says, “Welcome stenizo”
  Forum volunteers can find threads which have not been answered. Berating volunteers is not productive.

  You also have the option to post here, for answers from staff:
