Removing a widget caused the entire header section to link to the homepage.
-
An entire section of a clients website is linking to the home page (or the Facebook page when available) after deleting a widget.
Their website is from the dinosaur age and they aren’t ready for an upgrade – however, after removing a single widget, the header of the website is being wonky and linking to the home page. If the Facebook link is input into the theme settings, then the whole header links to the Facebook page.

Hi there, since the site bostonsquarelock.com is using the open source WordPress software and hosted at Hostgator, the best place to find help is either with the theme author or the support forums at https://wordpress.org/support/forums/
These forums you’ve posted to assist free websites hosted by WordPress.com, the hosting provider. If you’re not familiar with the differences, you might find this guide helpful https://wordpress.com/support/com-vs-org/#are-wordpress-org-and-wordpress-com-the-same-thing
