Removing account and photo

How do I remove my photo and account? I no longer need to use Gravatar, and I don’t want my photo appearing ad lib at many Internet locations.

To remove your photo, please go to https://wordpress.com/me > Click your photo at the top-left > Sign-in with WordPress > Click My Gravatars in the menu bar > Click Remove image
On removing your account, there is currently no way to complete delete your account. The method suggested on the support pages on deleting accounts can explain this better:
If you wish to leave WordPress.com, you can easily empty and delete your site. Once this is done remove all personal information from your Account Settings and change your password to a random string. This will leave your account inactive and prevent you from gaining access to it in the future.
To unsubscribe from any email notifications from WordPress.com, go to your subscription settings and check the box that says Block all email updates from blogs you’re following on WordPress.com. See Following Blogs support page for more information about this.
