Removing All Meta Info Except Comments

  I’m using Sandbox. Is it okay to remove the default display of the meta info at the bottom of each post (categories, tags, etc) and only leave the number of comments? Will this affect my stats in any way since the tags might be pulling in visitors from search engines?
