Removing all side bars
-
Hi everyone,
I am setting up a photography site on here and am having trouble making it look the way I would like. My current goal is to remove the side bar throughout the blog which I hope will allow my images to expand to full size and therefore the page present more as a website rather than a blog. I have seen suggestions for changing information at the page source but I all of a sudden have become a complete web novice and cannot figure it out. Anyone who has mastered or even successfully attempted the above mentioned tasks I am trying to achieve please please please send your knowledge my way. Thanks,
CaraThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

By selecting a wide theme that has a no-sidebar option – for example Nishita, Modularity Lite or Fusion.

@yourhomeintoronto – I thought the successful recommendation someone gave me was on this post, guess not.
Here’s how I did it (really simple):
-Go to your Dashboard
-Hover over “appearance” and click “widgets” on the slide out menu
-On the widgets page you will see “primary side bar” (at least with the Nishita theme this is how it looks)
-Drag all of the widgets currently in your primary side bar area over to the general “available widgets area until there are no widgets there (I think you can keep the footer widgets without an issue on the side)
=And done!It worked for me, hope it works for you!
