Removing an admin

  We have taken over as administrators of a site and need to remove the old administrators. We have tried to delete them off the site but keep encountering an error – no explanation provided. Is it possible to remove an old administrator direct from the people page?

  You should be able to remove administrators if you are an administrator. The exception is the blog owner. To remove the blog owner as administrator there must be a transfer of the account.
