Removing an e-mail from WordPress

  How do I remove an e-mail from WordPress? At the moment I cannot change the e-mail on one account because the on-line form tells me that that e-mail is already being used. I have deleted all the content on that other e-mail, but I still cannot change it on my primary account. Thoughts?

  Hi there,

  Each user account requires a unique email address as an identifier and you therefor cannot have the same email address associated with multiple accounts. To read more about this please visit the following link:

  You must change the and confirm the email address on the other account to gain access to the use of it for the new account.

  If I have misunderstood and at all please do clarify and I would be happy to offer my suggestions to a solution.

  Thanks. I used an old, old e-mail address and changed the e-mail on the one site to that, which allowed me to change my e-mail address on the primary site.
