Removing an external blog from my account
-
Hi,
I added an external, privately-hosted blog to my account shortly after I signed up. I don’t want the blog to be associated with my wordpress.com account anymore. How would I remove it?
Thanks,

We all understand. None of us can help. Bumping threads will not solve the problem. You will need to contact staff.

This has been a problem for a very long time. There is no way to remove the external blog. WordPress never gave us the ability to do that, and as far as I know, they will not do it on the back end either.

Woah, wait. I just set up stats(http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/stats/) for a client’s hosted wordpress blog. It asked for an api key, so I gave it mine, not know it would prompt for my username and password everytime you tried to view the stats (my fault, I should have researched this better).
But you’re saying now there is no way I can remove my wordpress.com account from my clients blog? Even more, he would have to log in with my wordpress.com account to see his stats for his site, and there is no way to correct this?

That is correct. The ONLY chance you have to change this is to contact staff directly and ask them to do it.
