Removing an inactive site
-
Hello. I thought the email address for my site (https://tainanbjj.wordpress.com/) was [redacted], but I am not receiving the email to reset my password. I want to take down the site as the information and schedule it shows are no longer used, but are still publicly available when people search for the gym (Tainan BJJ). Is there any way to see the email address I used to create the site, or just take the site down directly?

Hello there,
I don’t see any sites connected to this WordPress.com account – is it possible that you have multiple WordPress accounts connected with different email addresses?
Many thanks.

Yes, and that’s what I would like to know. I did not use my current email address, (this one) nor the old one that I made to set the site up originally, so I’m not sure what the email address associated with the site is.

We cannot provide that information without verifying ownership of the account. This is not something we can do on a public support forum.
You would need to review and follow the steps here to start that verification process:
https://wordpress.com/support/account-recovery/
I hope that clarifies things.

Hi there!
Sure, we can help you with that. Please send a direct email to
passwordhelp@wordpress.comexplaining the situation (you can add a link to this forum thread as well) and we’ll take care of the next steps for you to make the site private.Regards
