Removing an Unknown Google Tag Manager
-
Hello Everyone,
I have run a Google Tag Assistant on our website and it turned out there is a Google Tag Manager that no one in the company knows about and we are not even sure how it got there.
According to Google support, it has been implemented manually (not through a plugin) and I found an information that the tag is on a lot of websites of different businesses in the industry – more info here
My questions is – do you know how to locate the Tag Manager and delete it from the website? I have checked the Appearance – Theme Editor – Header and the same thing with Footer but I cannot seem to find it.
There is just one profile in my Google Tag Manager account.
Our website is droplet-trailer.com
Thank you,
Adam
