removing archives / categories / blogroll / metadata from site
-
Howdy, I’m just in the process of building a site for my impending wedding and I’d really like to remove the links from the right-hand side of the page (archives / categories / blogroll / metadata) to try and make the site look less ‘corporate’ all except the ‘pages’ link. Is this possible? And if so, how do i do it?
thanks in advance!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

If you have not yet added any widgets to your sidebar (appearance > widgets) then what you are seeing is a sample display of widgets created by the theme so that you can see what they look like. If all you want is the pages widget, simply drag the pages widget into the sidebar at appearance > widgets, move it around a little till the grey outlined box appears and then release the mouse button. Click “save” and then click “close” and then go and view your blog.

Thanks for your prompt reply – when I check the widget menu, the sidebar is empty, yet the site definitely has these widgets on it (karlandmarie.com) thanks.

You’re welcome. The widgets you were seeing was the sample display. I forgot to mention that the sample display goes away once you actually add a widget to the sidebar.
