Removing author and date from posts and trending – Modern News

  Since my site is not a blog, I would like to remove the author and date from the posts and the “trending” area of my site. The template is Modern News and I’ve purchased the Custom Design Upgrade. I’ve read other threads that have suggested adding this to my CSS:

  .entry-meta, .entry-utility { display: none }

  This does not seem to work – not sure if I’m doing it incorrectly or if it is not the correct code for Modern News. Any advice or insights will be appreciated.

  Haven’t had a chance to test it, but try
  .post-info {display: none;}

  Let us know if it works.
