Removing author without deleting his posts?

  I want to remove an author from my blog without deleting his posts. I want to assign his posts to administrator (that’s me).

  Will removing an author result in deleting his posts from the blog?

  When you remove an author, his posts remain and still show him as the author.

  To change the author on those posts, you can edit the them individually or you can do so in bulk. For that go to My Sites > WP Admin > Posts > All Posts. Tick the box next to each post you want to edit and then change the Bulk Actions dropdown to Edit. Click Apply. Change the Author dropdown to the new author (yourself). Click Update.
