Removing Banners on a Single Post

    Good morning

    I have a stand alone post that I want to remove the banner and widgets on. Is there anyway to do this? I’ve looked through the help articles and the dashboard but can’t work it out. The post I’m trying to sort is https://wp.me/p1m7AU-qp.

    Hi there!

    The items you refer to are the header and sidebar of your website and they’re elements of your site’s theme. To remove those on a specific post, that would involve the creation of a custom page template that that post would use which would involve code customizations of your theme. Having access to and ability to create those customizations would only be available on the WordPress.com Business plan.

    Additionally the Twenty Ten theme you’re using has been retired on WordPress.com, so you might take the opportunity to find a theme that’s up to date with modern versions of WordPress.

    Note that you can use the preview link to see how a theme would look on your own site before you make a switch.
