Removing Blogs From Site

    Hi,

    How do I remove the Blog functionality from my site? It wants to make my Blog my homepage, and since this site is for a business with very specific website goals, we have no need for a blog whatsoever. It’s making it very difficult to design the site …

    Howdy Dave,

    This is very simple and will only take you a second.

    >>First, go to your wp-admin and hover over Settings.

    >>Click on ‘Reading’ from the drop down menu.

    >>Now select ‘A static page’ on the top.

    >>Select your homepage from your pages.

    >>Don’t select a page for the blog and press save.

    Now you have a static front page for your business. Also if you go to Appearance>Menus, you’ll be able to determine what goes on your menu so the blog never appears.
