Removing box from around my pictures

  Hi, I am completely new to this (sorry!). My pictures are appearing with a box around them and I’d like to remove them.

  I have tried going into advanced settings of the picture however this does not work.

  I have google this and the question has been asked before and I obviously need to change the CSS. My two issues?

  1. I am so new to this I can’t find where to modify the CSS (I have a black screen and youtube examples are white and an earlier version of WP)

  2. When I finally find the CSS, what do I need to change?

  This will remove the border and shadow from pretty much every image you can imagine including on your blog:

  #page img {border-radius: 0; box-shadow: none;}
