Removing byline from comments

    Is there a way to remove the byline completely from comments section?
    Is that setting specific to a theme?
    In a secure blog, where it is set for an individual to enter their name and email before submitting a comment, is there a way to ensure that the username does not appear in place of the name they entered?

    If someone is logged in and visiting a private blog, then wordpress will automatically fill in the username, email address and website fields from the information in their profile. If they have set a “display” name in their profile, then that display name will show. If they have not set a “display” name in their profile, then it will default to their account main username. What ends up showing as a “name” on a comment from a logged in visitor is entirely dependent on what they have set in their own profile.
