Removing categories completely

  Is it possible to removed all posdt categories from my blog so that posts aren’t filed under anything whatsoever (aside from the monthly archives)? It’s probably not even worth asking why I want this, but is it possible?

  No. Posts need a category. Just make a ‘General’ category?
