removing changes

I chose the Chateau theme and then started playing around with it. It was my first time using the site and went kind of crazy. Now I want to remove all the changes I made and go back to the original Chateau theme I chose in the beginning. How do I do that?
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

There is no global reset for themes. You simply need to undo whatever you did :)
In case you haven’t seen yet, here’s the detailed theme description page with set up instructions: https://wordpress.com/themes/chateau/.
I hope this is helpful. If you have any other questions, don’t hesitate to ask here. Cheers!

How do I do the same thing for the twentysixteen theme? I don’t see the undo or a way to set it back to default under “customize”. I’ve even attempted to switch themes and go back to it…
i’ve also written it and asked to have a mod delete it all…still nothing.

To revert to the default font, you can click the X next to each custom font name: https://cloudup.com/cgsv60XWgxh
To revert back to a custom background colour or palette, click the word “default” in the Colors & Backgrounds panel.
If you need help resetting something specific, please let me know and I can guide you, as there isn’t an automated way to remove other types of customizations.

it’s more than that. I noticed when I originally started with twentysixteen last week, it had a widget option for both a sidebar and below. It seems the below widget options is no longer there and only the sidebar right exists.
How can I get it back so that BOTH areas for widgets is there?

wxforecastsolns – can you provide a link to your site running Twenty Sixteen so I can take a look?
-
sure…but be warned…the footer widgets may still appear (when i changed from another theme back to twentysixteen)…but there is no way to edit or add or remove them now that I’m back in twentysixteen. It’s as if the footer widget area is no longer an option, but I only originally installed a few days ago.

You’ll need to add some widgets to either of the two footer widget areas:
Content Bottom 1, and Content Bottom 2.

If you scroll down to look at the Inactive Widgets section, you’ll be able to drag previously used widgets into those two widget areas, with their settings retained.

wait…how did you get to that page from the main login page???? This site has it laid out much more simpler and I can see where the bottom content areas are. IF i try to do the customizing from where I was, it was not showing footer or lower content options available!!

That’s the WP Admin dashboard, which you can access here:

Wait….I am adding a bunch of new widgets to the “content bottom 1 and 2″…yet they are not showing up on the site….and when i go back through customizer, those bottom areas are not showing up as options to edit.
