Removing commas in Tags

It is very irritating that if I put an expression into Tags and the expression has commas, I need to remove the commas and replace them with something else or the expression is broken into separate tags at the commas. This should be removed.

Hi there,
Commas are used to separate tags when you add them and are supposed to be stripped out – this is not a bug. Tags should not contain any punctuation at all, as the tags feature is intended to key words related to your post that people can search for in the Reader. Using punctuation in a tag makes it useless for that purpose, as only people who already knows the correct punctuation will be able to search for the tag.
I understand that you perhaps want to use them differently, but they’re not designed to be used in that way. That is not something we are going to change.
