removing comment option from Pages

Hello, I was wondering if there was any way to remove the comment options from Pages? I have another WordPress blog that I use as a website (www.chicagonewmomsgroup.com–it is hosted through Go Daddy and I think this is why I have more flexibility with it??? maybe?) and I am able to specify where comments are allowed and where they are not. I have the Custom Design upgrade for this site so maybe there is some CSS coding I can put in to do this?? If so, what does it need to say? Thanks for the help!

If you want to disable comments on pages (or posts) that you already published, open one for editing, locate the Discussion module on the edit screen, and un-check the the boxes that say “Allow comments” and “Allow trackbacks and pingbacks”.

Note that you can also disable commenting for all future pages and posts, by changing the defaults. Go to SettingsDiscussion, and make the relevant settings in the the boxes that say “Allow people to post comments on new articles” and “Allow link notifications from other blogs”.

For more detailed instructions, as well as instructions for disabling and enabling comments on multiple posts in one go, see the support page about Enabling and Disabling Comments.
