Removing comments

I unchecked the comments function on my pages, and it didn’t take the comments away. What do I do?

Settings->Discussion changes aren’t retroactive, so for any posts or pages that were already published before you changed that, you’ll need to edit the individual post/page and find the Discussion module here, below the editor:

That worked. Thanks. Another question: I don’t like my WordPress name being listed as the author of my posts. How do I have my name as the author, rather than “mrjoshuarogers”?

You can change your “display name” which is different from your username:

One last question: when I try to put my custom logo in, it just does this blank little box at the top. Any idea what I might be doing wrong?

Hi Joshua – What browser are you using? Can you give it a try in an alternate browser to rule out any type of browser-specific issue? If the same thing happens in the second browser, let me know.
