Removing Comments only From Pages but leaving Comments for Posts Only

  I have two questions, I hope they both can be addressed by staff.

  1) Is there a way to disable the comments options for PAGES, but leave them on for posts?

  2)Is there a way to not have the questions I post in this forum indexed on google? I noticed that my forum questions are posted on line?

  I’m not staff, but I know the answer to your first question about disabling comments on pages since I figured out how to do it on my blog.

  Go to your dashboard and click the “pages” link in the left column.
  Select the “quick edit” under the title of a page.
  Then remove the check mark from “allow comments” box.
  Click “update” button.

  You will have to do the above for each page but it won’t mess with any of your posts. =)
