  You can’t, they’re built in. If you want rid of them you’ll have to get your own self hosted blog.

  While the answer is the same, the reason isn’t.

  Credits remain at the request of WordPress.com itself, to give credit where credit it due to the theme author and the place that is hosting you.

  If you want to lose the floating credits due to Infinite Scroll, and make them static instead, you can do that following the instructions at the bottom of this page. http://en.support.wordpress.com/infinite-scroll/ This will not disable the credits, only make them static rather than floating.
