Removing Date/Author

Hello. I have set up a new site that I’d like to remove the dates and author from. I have tried changing the date format in settings and also tried a CSS code I found online. So far, no luck. I’d love some assistance if anyone would be so kind as to offer it. 🙂

Hi- i have the same problem. Date, author and categorisation come up at the top. I have also tried to customise but it remains there. Could you please let me know how to remove all this. thanks

You have many sites on your account — would you mind sharing the URL of the site in question and a screenshot of the issue so we can check it?

Hi @subseditors – the method for removing the date, author, and category on blog posts will depend on a few factors, so we won’t be able to give you the proper guidance until we’re able to see the site. Even if the site is not yet launched or public, as staff, we will be able to access it as long as it’s hosted here on WordPress.com.
