Removing date from address bar permalink (for posts)

Is it possible to remove the date from the address bar permalink (for posts).
Dashboard/posts/permalink only lets me change the permalink name AFTER the date for posts.I.e https://ppstaking.com/2017/03/23/professional-poker-staking/
should become https://ppstaking.com/professional-poker-staking/I assume this might be a theme issue?
I have CSS editor if some code will do it.

Hi there,
To change the permalink structure for a WordPress.com site you need to have the Business Plan and have plugins installed on your site. It is not possible to change the permalink structure on any other plan.
CSS only affects the appearance of your theme. It cannot be used to change the way the software works.
