Hi there,
The date stamps are part of the Cubic theme’s design. You can use Custom CSS to customize your theme’s design, if you’d like. That feature is part of the WordPress.com Premium plan.
We have tips for getting started with CSS here:
If you’d like to see how other people customize their sites with CSS we also have a CSS Customization forum. It can be a great place to get ideas and help from others (including some volunteers with extensive CSS experience). It looks like this post includes the CSS you’d need to remove the date stamp on posts in the Cubic theme:

I hope this helps! :)

I’ve switched themes, and I still have the date stamp and now I have a leave a comment. I don’t want to post as a blog, rather like a website.
Is there a theme that you recommend that does not have the datestamp or the leave a comment as part of the heading. I don’t mind if the leave a comment is in the footer. -
Hi there,
When you publish posts, those posts will have a date stamp on them (that’s common practice for any theme). However, you can publish pages instead of posts and they won’t have a date stamp — for example, on your Travel page:
https://lifeviarosa.wordpress.com/travel/
With pages like that, you can set up a website rather than a blog and avoid having date stamps on all of your pages. You can also disable the “Leave a Comment” box by turning off comments on your pages.
Please let me know if I can do anything more to help with that!

Thank you so much. I decided to do pages instead and it solves the problem. My only other question is can you do tags in pages, and if so, how do you do that.
Thank you again. Learning all this has been a bit harder for me. -
can you do tags in pages
Categories and Tags can only be assigned to Posts. They cannot be assigned to pages.
