removing dates from a template
-
I have been playing around with a wordpress blog before upgrading to purchasing an upgrade to my own domain, etc. and adding more content. I like the layout of everything EXCEPT I cannot get the date information to disapear from the template I chose: SpringLoaded by the449.
Every page has a little orange tag with the date the page was added. I even tried to change the date format to just “Y” so it would show just the year, but nothing has worked. My preference would be to get it to disapear altogether.
Am I missing something?
my page is: http://canopyconcierge.wordpress.com
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

We wordpress.COM bloggers can only use the themes found here > Appearance > Themes
We cannot edit our templates at wordpress.COM as we are all working on a multiuser blogging platform http://en.support.wordpress.com/themes/editing-themes/
The themes we find here at wordpress.COM are shared by us all (they are not transportable by export). They have all been specially adapted to run on wordpress.COM software, as they were originally coded to run on free standing wordpress.ORG installs. Consequently, fooling around with one of the adapted themes here will NOT be helpful when you move to self hosting a wordpress.ORG install.

This thread is posted i9n the Questions forum. I’m wondering if you are really referring to CSS editing in which case it ought to be posted into the CSS customization forum https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization
If you have purchased the CSS upgrade http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-css/ then you know it’s only recommended to those who are experienced in CSS editing as there is no St6aff support for learning, and as we have only a couple of volunteers who help with CSS editing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/editing-css/
Neither one of the volunteers who help with CSS appears to be currently logged into wordpress.COM so you will have to wait for them to find this thread if CSS editing advice is what you are seeking.

Thank you for your reply and information. No, I am not familiar with CSS editing so did not plan to purchase that upgrade.
Since I can’t get the date off the template, I’m considering going to the intuit site – they have lots of ads up about free trial and then very cheap hosting. I haven’t decided yet, becuase the date is the only thing I don’t like… time to weigh the pros and cons!

I found out how to do that today. All I did was make the date text the same color as my post background. Hope this helped! :D

Oh, wait, nevermind. I see what you are talking about. I didn’t take a look at your site before I answered. The method I provided won’t work on your site, because your date is off to the side. Sorry!
