Removing debris from site Menu
-
In the course of making two separate pages in my site branch out from another, I ended up with the following situation:
I managed (somehow… the interface is *not* intuitive) to solve my problem, and both “guest lectures in pt” and “guest lectures in eng” branch out from the menh item “media” and they link to the well-functioning pages.
But I was left with “debris” in the main menu: “guest lectures in pt” and “guest lectures in eng” appear there *also* and they link to… nothing. They link to pages that bear their names but seem like the homepage after you navigate to it the second time (i.e. it shows you the summary of the blog).
How on Earth can I delete that debri *without* also deleting the pages that are correctly linked under “Media”?
Thank youThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You can just remove those unwanted items from your site menu,chttps://wordpress.com/support/menus/

I forgot an important detail:
“Guest lectures in pt” and “Guest lectures in eng” appear in Menus under Media. The correct links only appeared after i did that. But in Menus those are the only occurrences and I fear deleting them will delete the items under Media (if not the pages themselves).
That is the puzzle: how to eliminate them *withouth also* (magic phrase) deleting what I wish to keep.
Thank you

For instance…
I also want to delete that “gallery” there, from which “photos” and “videos” were supposed to branch out. Now “gallery” is there, but it appears nowhere in “menus” or “site pages”, and “photos” shifted place, right after “home”, which I don’t want but see no way of changing.
These things should be more intuitive… At least such details as spacial positioning of menu items.

When you delete an item from a menu, they don’t get deleted from your media, posts or pages.
Deleting one item from your menu, doesn’t delete other menu items. -
Ah!
Had to go to Appearance – Customize – Menus.
I was using the iOS app all the time, and mimicking my gestures there whenever I went to Dashboard using the browser in my laptop.
Of course I was not seeing this way of handling it.
It turns out it is *quite* intuitive.
Thanks for the help and excuse my shortsightedness.
