removing default setting

    How do i remove the “leave a reply” box from my “about” and “contact” pages (in twenty twelve theme)?

    Hi there,

    That “Leave a Reply” box appears when comments are enabled on a page. We have details about a couple different ways to remove them here: Enable and Disable Comments

    If you run into any trouble with that, these are the steps I’d recommend:

    1. Go to the Pages > All Pages screen in your site’s dashboard.
    2. Select the page you would like to modify or check the box next to “Title” column at the top to select all pages on that screen.
    3. Select Edit from the Bulk Actions drop down menu.
    4. Click the Apply button.
    5. Change the options for Comments and Pings to Do not allow.
    6. Click the Update button.
