Removing Domain Mapping and Redirect
-
I built a website on ontariosswa.wordpress.com and owned the domain osswa.ca. I purchased an upgrade called domain mapping to make sure osswa.ca points to the site.
Now I want to rebuild the website from scratch and remove the domain mapping. However, even though osswa.ca is not directed to that previous site, it is still not directed to the new site either (even though @ and ns are pointing to the right ip address). I have installed wordpress, that is not the issue. The issue that something is looping and not pointing anywhere I need. I type in osswa.ca and it redirects to http://www.osswa.ca. I type in members.osswa.ca (a subdirectory I built a month ago) and it redirects to http://www.osswa.ca.
As I said, my @ and nameservers are pointed to the new IP address, and everything with cPanel is correct. The issue I was told lies with wordpress.com. For some reason, I cannot figure out how to remove that redirect. Were some files deleted?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

I am seeing osswa.ca point to a landing page. I am not seeing it point to WordPress.com any longer. Nameservers are not pointint o WP.com either:
I’m also seeing Domain Mapping as having been canceled.
I’m going to assume that this got sorted out unless I hear otherwise from you.
