Removing editing capabiity from live blog, adding authors name to blog

  As a result of the assistance I’ve received my blog is beginning to take shape. I have a few more questions. For the fun of it I made the blog temporarily searchable and noticed that on the bottom left side of the page there was an edit button, I clicked and it took me directly into editing. I how do I remove this from the live blog? Also how do I add the authors names next to each conversation (blog)?

  I think that I have solved the edit issue…looks like it is only showing on my computer.
