Removing email address associated with wordpress

  I have moved my blog from wordpress to blogger. I have deleted my wordpress blog from my account, but when I try to comment on anybody’s wordpress blogs, it recognises my email address and asks me to log in to post the comment.

  I have changed the email address associated with my account in my wordpress profile but it hasn’t made a difference.

  I don’t want my comments on peoples blogs to be linked to a non-existing blog anymore on WordPress.

  Is there a way I can stop this happening?

  Changing the email address associated with your WordPress.com account (via your account settings page) ought to prevent the association from occurring.

  Can you double-check to see if the address recorded there differs from the address you’re using to comment? If so, let me know, and I’ll look further into the issue so we can figure out a way to resolve it.
