Removing existing widgets in the sidebar

  I would like to remove the sidebars that the theme came with. I don’t want blogroll, categories or search. I know under appearance you can add widgets and then remove those, but how to i remove the things already in the sidebar?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  If you would like to remove the default widgets just add a blank text widget.

  Also the iNove theme has the option to turn the side bar off.

  @t3ck: In Silver is the New Black widgets are enclosed in grey rectangles; so if you add a blank text widget you’ll end up with a grey bar instead of an empty sidebar. One should add a blank RSS widget instead.
