Removing Facebook "followers"

  Is there a way to remove the number of Facebook friends I have so that my blog only shows the true followers while keeping the Publicize option on?

  No I’m sorry there isn’t. Using Publicize means they are included. Perhaps if you decativate Publicize and use RSS Grafittiinstead to update Facebook that will work for you. RSS Graffiti periodically checks the RSS/Atom feeds that you specify and posts any new entries it finds to the Facebook Walls that you specify. You can get any feed written on any wall (Facebook Profiles, Fan Pages, Groups, Events and Application Profile Pages). In fact, multiple feeds to multiple walls. You choose the combination.
